What is a paratrike? Do I need experience?
A paratrike is a powered paraglider with wheels and two seats: one for the pilot and one for the passenger. No previous experience is needed. You stay seated while your pilot controls the flight.
How much does it cost and what is included?
A 15-minute flight costs €89, a 30-minute flight €129 and a 60-minute flight €199. A sunset flight lasts 30 minutes and costs €159. Prices are per person and include pilot, equipment, briefing and insurance. All can be booked online. Photos and video are optional extras priced before booking.
I am nervous about heights. Can I try it?
Feeling nervous before a first flight is normal. Tell us how you feel before booking. We will explain the preparation and flight so you can make an informed choice. We cannot promise that your fear will disappear.
What happens if the weather is unsuitable?
The pilot assesses the conditions and postpones the flight if needed. We contact you to arrange an alternative. Check the cancellation, rescheduling and any refund terms shown when booking; contact us before paying if you have questions.
Where do you fly and where do we meet?
We fly in Northern Portugal. Locations vary according to the weather and operating conditions. Your exact meeting point is confirmed before the flight. If you need to plan your journey in advance, contact us before booking.
Are there age or weight limits?
Our usual guideline is age 14 and above, with guardian permission for minors, and up to approximately 95 kg. Participation depends on the conditions and pilot approval. Contact us before booking if you are unsure.
How do I book for two or more people?
Each flight carries one passenger and the pilot. Book one slot per passenger, preferably consecutive, and check availability for everyone. Contact us before booking if you would like help arranging flights for a couple or group.
What should I wear and how much time should I allow?
Wear comfortable clothing, closed shoes and a jacket suitable for the temperature. Allow time for preparation: around 45, 60 or 90 minutes on site for a 15, 30 or 60-minute flight respectively.
How does the sunset flight work?
It is a 30-minute experience with a time based on sunset. Weather and the pilot’s assessment determine whether it can go ahead. The visibility of the sun and the colours of the sky vary and cannot be guaranteed.
How do booking and payment work?
Choose your experience, view available times, then complete your details and payment in the Setmore calendar. The platform shows the amount payable and payment methods. Your booking is complete only when confirmation is provided. The exact location and flight conditions are confirmed before take-off.
